A Day of Travel

We were up early this morning having to be at YVR at 7:15AM. Everyone arrived by 7:30. With Susan checking everyone in and having printed the boarding passes, we sailed through TSA without any issues. After a five hour bumpy ride, we made it to Ottawa shortly before 5PM.

A bus shuttled us to Carleton University. We met up with the CWSF organizers and were issued our rooms. We were able to get ourselves settled in. We made our way down to the cafeteria where they fed us well. There were a variety of foods available to suit everyone's tastes.

After dinner, Stuti and Cheryl returned to their rooms to practice their speech, while Susan and I took the rest of the Finalists for a nice evening walk around campus. When we returned to the residences, Natasha, Fawzan and Alex played some frisbee.
